Intent to Use

Definition:
An "intent to use" application must include a sworn statement (usually in the form of a declaration) that applicants have a bona fide intention to use the mark in commerce. A properly worded declaration is included in the trademark application form for registration.

Abandoned Trademark Status

Definition:
Means that specific application is no longer under prosecution within the USPTO, and would not be used as a bar against your filing.

Trademark Assignee

Definition:
The entity that is the recipient of a transfer of a patent application, patent, trademark application or trademark registration from its owner of record.
